Reggie & Kim Davis

Reggie Davis grew up in Hughes, AR. After graduating from Arkansas State University with a Finance degree, Reggie has spent his working career in the city of Memphis. He began his professional career with First Tennessee Bank, now First Horizon Bank and has worked in the nonprofit industry for the last 15 years with three different organizations – Young Life, Streets Ministries, One Family Memphis, and New Memphis Institute.  Reggie recently transitioned into the position of Director of Beyond the Classroom with Seeding Success – focused on improving outcomes for every child in Memphis and Shelby County from cradle to career by connecting institutions, community organizations, equity-based policies, and resources in a results-focused system of accountability. Through each of these work experiences Reggie has gained valuable skills in leadership, program development, community engagement, resource development, training and empathy. 

Reggie accepted his call into ministry as a teenager. In his time of ministry he has served in various positions for a number of churches but his foundation was laid at New Bethel C.O.G.I.C., under the leadership of his father, Superintendent Alexander Dean Jr. In February 2017, Reggie was installed as the pastor of New Bethel where he continues the legacy of his father – to love God and love people. He serves on the board for Memphis Lift. Reggie has been married to his wife Kim since October of 2000 and they have three amazing daughters – Sydney, Kendall, and Ella.
